Glasgow Memorial Day – Friday 26 April 2013
CAA will host its annual memorial day on Friday 26 April at 12.00 noon at Provands Lordship, St Nicholas Garden, opposite St. Mungo’s museum. The event is hosted every year to commemorate all those who have died from an asbestos related condition.

CAA launch Self Management DVD at Scottish Parliament
CAA launch Self Management DVD for sufferers of asbestos related conditions. The DVD is available free of charge to those who suffer from an asbestos related condition and to medical professionals involved in the care and management of patients.
The Great Scottish Run
CAA were delighted to be at the Great Scottish run again. This year we had more people running on behalf of CAA than any other year so far. As ever, CAA were on hand to replenish the runners with water, juice and even the occassional chocolate or two!!
National Mesothelioma Day 2012
CAA commemorated National Mesothelioma Day 2012 by hosting a Patient/Carer conference in Glasgow – 28 June & Aberdeen – 6 July. Both conferences had speakers from the medical and legal professions. Among those issues addressed were pain control and ‘the legal journey’. Thanks must go to all our speakers who gave their time to make both conferences possible.
