William Bremner-Allison Memorial Day

Jethro Bremner-Allison organises an annual golf tournament, pictured above, in support of Action on Asbestos and in memory of his dad, William Bremner-Allison, who sadly lost his life to mesothelioma.

This is one of the fantastic ways that people fundraise for AoA at the same time as remembering a loved one. Since the inaugural WBA Memorial Trophy held on June 4th 2017 – the first anniversary of William’s death – the event has raised an amazing £24,782.01.

Each year in the UK, at least 5000 people die from an asbestos-related disease.  That is 100 individuals and families each and every week whose lives are devastated by this terrible condition.
