More than 80 people attended a special memorial held by Clydeside Action on Asbestos in memory of those who have died from an asbestos related disease.

Glasgow Memorial Day
This year’s memorial took place on Friday 25 April 2014 at the Provands Lordship, St Nicholas Gardens, Glasgow. Phyllis Craig MBE, opened the memorial by thanking all those who made such a special effort to attend.
Phyllis Craig MBE gives Evidence to Justice Committee on Asbestos Court Reform
Phyllis Craig today gave evidence to the Justice Committee of the Scottish Parliament regarding the Courts Reform (Scotland) Bill. The proposed Bill seeks, amongst other reforms, to remove all asbestos cases, where the value is deemed to be less than £ 150,00, from the Court of Session (Scotland’s Supreme Court) to Sheriff Courts.

Sunday 19 May 2013 – Baker Hughes 10K – Gary Gove. As you are all aware Gary Gove has been taking part in various runs in order to raise fund for our charity. This year we had hoped to get as many people as possible to go through to Balmoral for the 10K in which Gary is competing in.
