Asbestos Sufferers ‘betrayed’ by UK Government
The Northern Echo newspaper reported today that the UK government has quietly dropped plans to create a fund of last resort for asbestos sufferers.
Aberdeen Mesothelioma Day
The event was brought to Aberdeen because of the substantial increase in asbestos related cases, and to provide people information to those with mesothelioma on the best way to manage their condition.
Riding of the Royal Mile
CAA were delighted and proud to receive an invitation from the Presiding Officer of the Scottish Parliament to participate in the Riding of the Royal Mile – an event which marked the opening of the Fourth Session of the Scottish Parliament.
National Mesothelioma Day 2011
The event took place at Glasgow City Chambers with the opening address being given by Baillie Catherine McMasters. This event provided patients and carers with an opportunity to learn more about their condition and the treatment options available to them.
