CAA welcome news that the UK government is to introduce a compulsory scheme set up to to pay compensation in cases where employers’ liability insurance cannot be traced.

CAA in the News
Clydeside Action on Asbestos, which is fighting for payouts for thousands of workers who contracted mesothelioma, has accused insurance companies of using “underhand tactics” to have compensation claims thrown out of court.
National Mesothelioma Day 2012
CAA commemorated National Mesothelioma Day 2012 by hosting a Patient/Carer conference in Glasgow – 28 June & Aberdeen – 6 July. Both conferences had speakers from the medical and legal professions. Among those issues addressed were pain control and ‘the legal journey’. Thanks must go to all our speakers who gave their time to make both conferences possible.
