Thanks to everyone who came to remember
Dear All
I am delighted to announce that this year we have been given permission to host our annual memorial, which is in respect of all those who have died from an asbestos related condition.
The memorial will take place on Friday 1st July 2022 (Action mesothelioma day) at 12 noon at the Provands Lordships Gardens (behind the oldest house in Glasgow at the top of High Street opposite Glasgow Royal Infirmary). We will hear from various guest speakers and of course, lay our memorial wreaths to honour and remember those who have lost their lives through no fault of their own.
Unfortunately, there will be no lunch after the memorial, as the council have stated that they have not yet opened St Mungo’s Museum. I have tried to book an alternative venue nearby, but this has not been possible.
Please try and make every effort to attend, as if we don’t remember those who have died from an asbestos condition, who will? I look forward to seeing you on the day. Please contact Angela on 0141 552 8852 to confirm your attendance.
Please note anyone can bring along some flowers in respect of their loved one.
With Kind regards
Phyllis Craig MBE
