Serving the communities of Scotland for more than 35 years and continuing to do so throughout the coronavirus crisis

Action on Asbestos: Local Lifeline

We are proud to have been providing emotional and practical support to the communities of #Scotland affected by industrial disease for more than 35 years.

During the current coronavirus crisis, our welfare rights and admin team have been working remotely and securely, tirelessly providing support to anyone in Scotland diagnosed with #mesothelioma, lung cancer or any other #asbestos disease or #work related illness or #injury.

We are continuing to provide welfare benefits and legal advice to new and existing service users. We have been able to progress both new and exisiting claims for benefits & compensation. We have also been representing our service users who have an existing Benefits Appeal by participating in Telephone Appeals arranged via the Tribunal Service.

We are liaising closely with #NHS medical professionals, specialist solicitors and the #DWP: Working together to provide the best service possible.

We would like to thank everyone who has made all this possible, particularly our fantastic service users. Please #staysafe and hopefully we can all meet again in person soon.

If you have been diagnosed with an asbestos disease, work-related illness or injury please get in touch. We are here to help.
