GLASGOW COUNCIL LEADERS TURN THEIR BACKS ON DEDICATED CHARITY FOR ASBESTOS VICTIMS
The future of Glasgow’s only specialist charity for victims of asbestos exposure and other industrial illnesses is in jeopardy thanks to the actions of Glasgow City Council. Action on Asbestos (formerly known as Clydeside Action on Asbestos) has served the population of Scotland for over three decades and has had to continually fight for funding to meet the growing demand for the charity’s advice and support services.

Launch of Action on Asbestos – Industrial Injury and disease 2019
Action on Asbestos, Industrial Disease and Injury, Scotland’s leading asbestos charity, is expanding with a new mission. The charity, until recently known as Clydeside Action on Asbestos, has been helping people with an asbestos-related disease for over 35 years. Now, they are expanding so that anyone who develops a work-related illness or injury can benefit from their advice service.
CAA AGM – Saturday 17 August 2019
Our Annual General Meeting will be held on Saturday 17th August, between 10:00 am and 12:00 noon at Glasgow City Chambers in George Square. We would ask all our members to make every effort to come along to this event.
