Clydeside Action on Asbestos were delighted to accept an offer to give a presentation on asbestos related issues to GP’s who have practices in the North Lanarkshire area. The presentation was attended by approximately 20 General Practitioners and MCN (Managed Clinical Networks) members.
Phyllis Craig MBE gave the presentation which covered current increasing trends in those diagnosed with an asbestos related disease, legal updates involving time bar and issues relating to deaths from asbestos related diseases and when to report to Procurator Fiscals office.
The presentation was well received with a lively debate taking place following the presentation.
